A design challenge to visualize common design phrases in street sign format.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Working in a design career there are plenty of common phrases you love\/hate to hear. I wanted to try to visualize a few of them in street sign format. I chose street signage as a challenge because the format must be accessible to the lowest common denominator of any target audience.<\/p>\n

Street signs typically are no more than 2 colors, visually graphic, and with as little text as is possible.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since the intended target audience are designers there I used visual cues that may not necessarily be immediately recognizable by a non-designer but the intent was to try to make them generally understandable to all.<\/p>\n
